Any quick hints or suggestions for replacing them. For something that should be so simple, it is a PITA and I always end up cussing like heck. I for the pliers so that's not the issue, but getting them on sure is.

They always rear their ugly head on the coldest days, got a couple that are seeping pretty good. Seems like the new ones are junk, they last only a couple of years. I know I replaced them in December of 09, got frostbite doing that. Had to replace them in 12, and now again. The previous set lasted over 20. And yes I replace all of them at a time if one needs replacing, seems like once you've messed with them your screwed.

Better replace all at once. I don't know an easy way. I always start at the injector closest to steering wheel and work my way forward. Good luck.

I ground groves into the jaws of a set of pliers to make it easier to handle the clips. Still a pain.

works best if you take return line off injection pump and the fitting going up to fuel tank, replace all boots leave clamps on the bottom half of boots replace fuel line. It usually works best if hood is lifted up also, if there is a cab on tractor then it is a PITA ggod luck

They actually make a special set of pliers with grooves/notches. It's still a pain but it makes it a little quicker.

These pliers help a lot. Have a couple pair around here some where but they are AWOL right now. Dad said the dry fertilizer tubes on old planters and seed runs on drills used spring clamps. There is some piece of late model equipment around here (don't remember what) that still uses those clamps. Picked up another pair at flea market. NAPA has them. I usually replace those clamps with hose clamps.

Replace spring clamps with some #4 mini stainless steel clamps. Much easier to get in place and tighten.

Keep the lines as straight as possible to avoid stress in the tees.
100% agree on the notched pliers. It is well worth the time to make a set and keep them in the back of the tool box for this job.
