We have an older bulk bin on our farm that hasn't been used for several years. I'm thinking around 10 years. We have been using the large totes for the last 2 years but are outgrowing that practice and thinking about going back to a bulk bin. I took the auger off the bootom of the bulk bin cone and found the bottom of the cone still full of feed. The bottom of the cone and auger transition would need to be replaced. Is there a good place out there that handles these parts? I tried Mr. Google but didn't see much. It is around an 8 foot diameter bin. What would a new 4 ton bulk bin cost? Thanks.

A new 4 ton is around $2000 last time I looked. A 10 ton was around $3500. This was about 5 years ago.
As far as parts, every bin brand is a little different, but you can sometimes get lucky with mating up different brands (might have to drill a few new holes). Any idea what brand of bin you have? If you could post a picture, someone might be able to identify.

Here are the pictures I took of the bin last night. It was late before I had a chance to take them. We are just north of Manhattan. So North East Kansas.

My bin is literally that exact bin and I put a whole new cone on it. Believe it cost somewhere around $600. Bought all my parts from Delange in Girard.
