Anyone know of a salvage yard that has black machine planters. There are several odd/unique wheel lift cylinders I can't find anywhere. $1600 bucks from agco. The whole planter isn't worth $9000. Hard to swallow that much for a simple wheel lift cylinder!

You don't have a hydraulic shop around that could build a copy? I use a shop called Fluid Power near Buffalo, NY to get parts such as rods/body/seal kits that I put together. They do complete custom cylinders, I just don't pay them to do mine because I can do it cheaper.

Herb, the planter guy at rankin Il would probably have one, Deere would be that much on similar cylinder, might check with Baum hydraulics also as pre agco black machines likely used cylinders that were available.
