New holland combine with case ih head

Subject: New holland combine with case ih head


Ada minnesota		How hard is it to get a case 2020 or 3020 flex head to work on a new holland cr combine. Seems like there is a lot more case heads to chose from. Should hook up but we where wondering if header height control will work or would a guy have to rewire it or put new sensors on it thanks

SC ND		Header height control on these two combines is different. You will need to check to verify, but I believe 09 and later CR's ran a 10V header height system and 10 and newer ran a 5V header height system similar to the Case combines. Case has always run the 5V.

Ada minnesota		I have a 04 cr 970. Would a guy have to get new sensors if I went to a newer header case or new holland

Check with Headsight. They might have an adapter module. We got one for our green head we are putting on our Lexion.

NESD		I use a new holland pu header on a caseih 5088 without any problems. It works perfect and that head has automatic header height like a flex head, but no field tracker. The head is built by macdon I believe. I did have to set the A post for a pickup head 3 years ago. I hadn't used it for three years and this year I plugged in and the combine detected it right away and didn't even have to re program it. Great Head. I did not buy this head new, near new. Someone else might have done some switching on it. All looks original to me.
