Is a 2000 New Holland 1441 discbine a good reliable machine?Or keep looking for a different discbine?

Have a '02 1412 which is a 10' side pull with flail conditioning and no problems. I'm assuming a 1441 is a large swing tongue.

1411 seems to be the mower of choice in my area. Even the guys that bleed green, myself included. They're built heavy and have a lot of capacity, also takes a fair amount of power to run em hard.

Ok, I will go out on a limb here. 1441 is the 15 foot model. The bar is only bolted to the farm out near the end. Hitting just a small rock can break the bar off. I am a pro at fixing the cutter bar. We have run 1431s and now a 1441. Just seems like we always had trouble with the cutter bars after they got more then about 2500 acres or so on them. Next machine I buy will be a different color.

I run a 1431 and have similar problems. Probably will go back to a Kuhn or maybe try a Krone.

We run a 1411 and a 7230[ I think that is number] both NH and like them both. Never had any problems just change knives every once in awhile.

I was swathing with our Hesston and hit a large piece of concrete. Backed up, picked it up, and kept going. Kid riding with me said that it would have sheelared a hub or more in his JD. Also ran a NH and sheared 8 hubs from rocks. My Hesston just runs.
