I'm looking at purchasing an aluminum trailer for hauling my RTV and ATV plus misc items. Looking at a 14'x82" for possible size. What are the good, bad, ugly between different brands like Triton, Aluma, etc.? What are guys using? TIA

I have a deck over with a wooden floor and like it a lot, no rust, light weight are the pluses , welding repair would be a minus. Some have all aluminum floor and can be very slippery .I like the wood planks easy to replace and not as slippery. Another minus is more expensive but it's worth it if rust is a concerns

Just bought an Aluma. 77" wide by 12'. Apples to Apple I thought it was the best value. Has alum deck and rims. I got the 3,000 lb heavy axle option and bifold tailgate.

Most tritons have steel rims.
Sure trac had very poor fit and finish.
Bear track was nice, reasonable, and made in mn. But it did not have a short side rails to help tie things down.

If you ever make it to Des Moines, Thomas bus sales was far cheaper then anybody for Aluma trailers.

This is my second Aluma, 72" x 16'.  Only had a couple of issues due to the location of the spare tire, Aluma customer service is second to none.

Aluma has good trailers and great service. Called headquarters in Iowa to find out where to get a replacement fender light on a 4 year old trailer, the guy asked for my address and mailed me a new one for no charge. The heavy duty versions are worth the extra money imo.
