Good, bad and the ugly? How thick to plant? Taste? Customer satisfaction? How much do you price it at?

Obsession II grew it for personal consumption. Planted at 28,000 irrigated. The best bicolor I've ever tasted.

Got seed from Dekalb dealer last 2 years. No idea the variety. Great taste. Planted at 26k or so.

Obsession 2 hands down the best corn I have ever had. Is also ear worm resistant. Plant it at 14k non irrigated. Big ears that way.

Obsession II is all I'm planting this year. Definitely more expensive but well worth it in my opinion. Best tasting sweet corn I've ever had!

What varietys are you comparing the Obsession II against in regard to flavor? Friend gave me a couple dozen ears of rr sweet corn last year, have no idea the variety, but it didn't come close to our Ambrosia in flavor. It be a lot easier if we planted rr sweet corn but I don't want to end up with a bunch of sweet corn we don't like.

I think ours was temptation. Ok as soon as it was picked. terrible the next day. Not in the same zip code as Ambrosia. No more of that high priced stuff for us.

All RR sweet corn seed I've seen is in 25,000 kernel bags and costs at least $325/bag.

I was really happy with it. So much cleaner-nobody complained about taste. Seemed to take a little longer to get sweet but once it did was really good.
