Does anybody out there run one of these machines? There is one for sale in our area that we are going to look at this week. Are there any high-wear areas we should look for? What would a fair price be? I have only seen them on the internet, never in person. There are Stingers and Haying Mantis' in use out here, but we are not interested in bouncing across corrugations (flood irrigated fields). How is the parts availability? Thanks for any info....

Where is it? If you don't want it I will take it just based on that pic!

It is in Montana, but that was just a respresentative photo I found online. We went and looked at the actual machine last night, and it was total junk. He'll be sitting on it a long time at that price. I'll give you the number if you are looking for a winter project.

Seriously though they are ver solid machines. The only weakness I have found on mine is the cab mounting design and is not typical for Freeman as they tend to overbuild.

Eliminator Mfg in Bakersfield has some nice plastic wear parts and some other items

Parts from Freeman are insanely expensive! Most things can be fabbed or sources from truck supply house

What do these do? They will make 8x8x8 or 8x8x9 square stacks for you guys out west to handle with your squeezes?

It depends on where and what we are hauling how many bales we put in a block. They will haul 8 3x4 bales but 6 is a squeeze block.
