Subject: Which brand of field cultivator


Hello everyone I have a question on field cultivators. We are wanting to upgrade our Landoll 9800. It is just getting older and we love the trash clearance and the job it does in the field. However parts are hard to get because our dealer is a John Deere dealer and they do not stock parts for Landoll except for there vertical tillage machines. So my question is what's the best. What is the pro and cons of them. We have been looking at a JD2210 and a IH tigermate 200. We are open to any brand but need one that we can get parts for. We are looking for one in the 35' - 38' range. Would like to have a narrow main frame for narrow transport but we have herd especially on the John Deere's that they get really tall. Our Landoll is a triple fold with a eleven foot main frame so that is nice to pull down the road. So if I could get any opinions on what works the best I would appreciate all the help. Thanks Nathan

Black Hawk County, IA		We have a 2210, neighbor got a new Case/Dmi whatever. Have run together side by side and can't tell the diff. Pick your fav color, dealer or price.

MN		Take a look at the Krause 5635- well built machine we like the three row of coil tine harrow in front of the rolling basket and the floating hitch.

west TN		We are all green, but have a 32 foot Tigermate2. We have baskets on it and pull a crumbled behind it as well. Run the hell out of it and couldn't be happier. Wish we had a second one.

EC IL		JD 2210, dont think you will be sorry. Very well built machine with great clearance
