Any massey ferguson 6200 series owners on here ever have all the field lights stop working? I checked the fuses and they all look good. Got power to to the dash switches but nothing at the lights. Is there a relay for the lights? If so, wheres it located.

My 6290 will kill the field lights when you switch on the flashing "hazard" lights. There must be a relay

Parts diagram shows a relay (3615652M1) but not where it is located. It shows it with a nut so it must be bolted somewhere.

In the instrument panel page it shows 3 relays plus the blinker for the turn signals so they should be there somewhere. I'd pull the clutch/brake access panel and look in there. It seems I've seen some relays in there

http://www.agcopartsbooks.com and then go to the 6280 book then to Electric Equipment & Instrument Panel

Thanks for the info Ks8780. The number you posted matches these relays under the fuse panel. Ay agco techs know if one of the relays in the pic control the field lights/

It's one of the relays in the pic. Have not had that problem on one and service manual does not show relay locations and if it does its usually wrong. Just have to trace the wires to find out which one it is. There is also some relays behind the panel on the right side of the dash as well. Good luck.

A corn field somewhere on planet vulcan
when you turn on the flashers the lights turn off, but if you have a loader you can not see where you are going, is there a wire to disconect that will disable this with out messing other stuff up??

The relay for the work lights on my 6290 is mounted on the backside of the mounting for all the relays in your pic.

Remove clutch and brake panel under dash and look to the left of the clutch arm. Mounted with one stud mount just like in your pic. Just on the back side of all the others in your pic. I can feel mine click and my work lights quit when I unplug it.

Hope this helps
