yes I have several. mine are 16 ft tandems. make sure the wood crossmembers are good and if one looks bad fix it imediately or you will have a scrap wagon full of silage. Only other thing is the beaters are not the strongest but overall a decent wagon.

Ours has always been shedded and the beaters still rust out. We started making our own instead of buying the ones (which are like the originals) from Gehl. Other than that, it is a descent wagon. My personal choice would be a Meyer wagon over a Gehl.

only good thing is when bottom beater breaks if you pull it out you can still run it to get it unloaded

Blue Grass (Eastern IA)
Keep a good drive chain on it and keep it tight. The chain from the PTO shaft is about 14' long. It will stretch under load and come off. Then it will wrap on the pto sprocket and twist off the pto shaft because they did not put a shear bolt in there. Brilliant design!! I put a new chain on evey 2 years. The rear most 2x6 is not strong enough. Put in a C channel or the back end will get saggy. Beaters and roof are expensive when they rust out. Gear boxes are strong.

decent wagons, but not the best. beaters are their weakness. they only came with two speed gear box, hayledge you have to run in low, corn in high if you got enough tractor on the blower. the top beater on these wagons is too low and if you fill over the top of it, you will get large piles of feed dumping into the tray. basically they are outdated unless your on a budget. we still have one but no one likes it and the help uses our H&S wagons over the gehl especially in hayledge.
