2007 Magnum 215 with 10 bolt suspended front axle ~4000hrs with singles on front. Been having trouble with the front end since it was new. Been through at least 5 rims and dishes on both sides and planetary bearings on both sides once. They(my dealer&CIH area service rep) keep telling me that its our fault the wheel bolts keep getting loose and causing trouble. I can tell you for sure that's not the problem we torque them all the time and this last time the dealer actually welded the rim nuts on. The dish bolts are double nutted. Whenever you go the extra mile to keep everything tight something else breaks. They have been saying they were gonna take care of it but they just keep patching it and now, they have sent me a bill for the last time. Pretty sure if something doesn't happen to get fixed real soon it's getting traded for a dif color.
The bad part is its my favorite tractor to run and the most fuel efficient tractor we've ever owned. This tractor does not get abused either!

Does the tractor have the wrong gears in the front end or have the wrong size tires on the front? If so, the front end would be in a bind anytime you engauge the front differential.

We did have a few problems with our 215 bearings in the front end with 10 bolt hubs. Never any problems with rims breaking. Dealer said we needed to change the oil in the front end 2x a year. We carried a lot of weight up front which did not help the situation. We solved this by trading up to a larger size and getting the 12 bolt hubs. I know 12 bolt hubs was an option on the 215.

corn1 is correct, there is a 12 bolt option, when I worked for Case, we sold a lot of tractors to cattleman, they were abused to say the least, never seen one with cracked hubs or broken rims, dealer needs to do more checking into this matter, Scott. http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/005/9/8/5988-caseih-magnum...
