Madison, Mississippi

go to www.google.com , in the black bar at top of page where it says search - images - maps - you tube - gmail.......
click images then type towner disk or baker plow in the search box.....or whatever you want a picture of, then hit
SEARCH and you will get pages of what you are looking for.

You may have to comb through several photos but you will find what you are looking for.

Plowboy,
You wanting pics of disk plows or drag type disks with hydraulic cylinder to shut the offset disk???? I may have some of a Rome hinge type offset with carrier wheels if that is what you need.

I'm looking for pictures of disc plows.  Specifically pull type ones.

We have a 4 btm onland mounted Baker which is proving to be too much for the 3 pt.  I am looking for validation of what I am thinking of doing to make it pull type.
that are
I've found one picture of a Universalgroup pull type which looks like what I am thinking of.
Allen Machine builds a carrier for their 3pt models.  I don't think that is going to work for my application.
I have not really found anything useful of a reversible Towner.

You may try calling Wilcox plow, Allen Wilcox is really nice to talk to and could give you some sound advice. When I was looking for a deep plow (didn't pull the trigger went with ripper instead) IIRC he said some issues with pull type disk plows. I did find a couple of Wilcox moldboards in south TX worth the money.

I was looking for a Wilcox hitch for a Challenger at first, but right now I'm thinking pull type is a better answer.  Maybe I should look up a number and give him a call, can't hurt anything.

The main problem with the 3 pt is that I need to be able to turn with it in the ground....sometimes fairly sharply.  I've got all the sway blocks out of the hitch now and still not enough.  I think turning is also part of what is tearing stuff up.    That and the fact that the plow weighs 7000 plus lbs and it is on a 400 plus hp tractor and Cat III just isn't enough.
