Don't know much about the Lamborghini tractor line, are they just Deutz models with different paint? A couple coming up in auction and wondering what they may bring, models Formula 135 and 1060 premium. Tell me what you know of them.

Area farmer has one, can't remember the model number but about 8- 10 years old or so and about 140hp. He bought it used for a very good price from the local AGCO dealer. Last time I talked to him he was quite happy with it. Not sure about parts though, probably through AGCO I'd suspect.

Have a look to this website: http://www.samedeutz-fahr.com/USA/en-US/homeen.html

There you will find all Informations! The Mother company is SAME idn Italy. The three other brands, Deutz, Lamborgini and Huerliman are just diffrent colors but same traktors.

By the way, Same will present at Agritechnica in Hannover/Germany under the Brandname Deutz the most Powerfull Standardtraktor in the world with 440 HP

Same Lamborghini and Hurliman are the same tractors except for engine and color. The SLH group took over Deutz Fahr witch is a completly different tractor except for a couple of smaller models. What I know from them is run as fast as you can. The smaller ones seem to be not to bad but the 80 hp and up are scary.

Well, I totally disagree with you! I have a 150 horse 2008 Lamborghini and works like a charm. Great fuel efficiency and lots of handy standard features , you would have to pay for in other brands. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

Seaforth, Ontario

I drove a 1060 Premium (with loader) for 3 years. It had lots of guts for its rated HP (105, IIRC) and got it to the ground well (MFWD). Planted a lot of beans pulling a 15 foot CIH 5400 drill on a Blu-Jet cart. Takes a while to get used to all the electronics and gear selection; jockeys would try to use it, stall it and walk away after 10 minutes; you had to have patience and let the computer reboot in order to start. It did have issues with the front wheel assist hubs; not sure if it was water/dirt or over-loading, but was expensive to repair (and wait for parts). After the second hub rebuild, it went down the road, traded on a CaseIH MX180 which was the more appropriate size for the work the Lamborghini was asked to do.
Overall , I think it would make a good utility tractor if not abused. Lots of power and nice transmission (lots of gears with a reverser), if the price is right.

So. IL
They could not give me another SLH tractor! Just wait till you have problems and then try to find a mechanic to work on them, good luck!
