Considering adding an automatic chain oiler to the 2366 combine. Other than CIH, where can you buy such a system? Do they work well and are they worth the money?
Thanks.

We had a Lincoln automatic oiler, IIRC< on our 2388 that we purchased thru our CIH dealer. When you swing the unloader out it would give the chains a shot of oil. Takes awhile to get the flow adjusted where you want it & if you're like us where we fold the auger back every time things can get kind of messy. We bought extra lines & oilers & had our 1083 cornhead settp for it as well. Just had to remember to uncouple the lines when you were changing heads. Worth the money IMO.

I have one on my agco rd baler, each chain gets a brush and oil line, every time you dump a bale it oils the chains, you can adjust the oil flow rate, and i use motor oil 15-40.
this set up is not a lincoln, but I think it starts with an S, I think.
one thing about it, the sides of the baler are not going to rust out..

15w-40 or Hy-tran. On a combine you'll want something that will flow when it's cold out. Lines are small & by the time you get around to the elevator drive chains can be fairly long.

LubeMinder by Suburban Mfr for your 2300 series combine I think. You can order through your dealer or LubeMinder, but the LubeMinder customer service is excellent. I can't recommend them highly enough. They work great and they are well worth it. Can you tell I like mine?
