has anybody tryed one of these or know any one who has one, how do you or they like it. me and my dad are getting real tired of looking over our shouler all day and have neck pains for a week. they look real heavy duty from the pictures. thid is the only company i could find thaty sells these. it would be going on a 7060 allis chalmers if i decide to get it. it would be for next year as this one is only got a couple of months left. i called them for a price they want 11,000.00 for it thats really high ,but it would be some thing that i would own for many years.

p.s. that price does not include the snowblower.

hear you on the bad neck pains. the set up seems kind of spendy and not sure of their definition of "QUICK/SIMPLE TO MOUNT".only other option i can see is a Bi-Di new holland and those aint cheap either.can you use it for other stuff besides sno blowing?that would make it more valuable to me.

Subject: inverted snow blowers??

Ontario Canada

How about an inverted snow blower?? We had one for years, on an MF 35. Actually miss it compared to the Farm King that we have now.

I used a lucke brand front snow blower for right at 30 years. Advantage is looking out front and for heavy snow, 1st forward is usually slower than first reverse.
Disadvantages are front weight, loss of ground clerance, slower to mount /dismount,extra cost. and, maintenence of that long complicated driveline.

This is the lucke site, note this is only a single stage snow blower.

Lorenz http://www.lorenzmfg.com/front_mount_kits.htm offers one also. I think there must be more also as a couple of neighbors have grey ones. Saw some state equipment over by Grand Forks using a blue colored front mount and it seems to work well. If you weld, find an old Erskine front mount, blower isn't much but you could mount your blower on it instead. I mounted one of those up in a half hour by myself so it is pretty easy to do. I would think one of those is around a $1000 in the summer, then sell the blower for a few hundred, not much into it.. Remember your ground clearance is considerably lower because of the shaft if that matters to you.

Slicker than a Yes album.
This one is down at Mankato, must be used for moving snow into trucks.

loftness makes one we have had one on a jd 2555 since 1992. I'm still amazed with it when we get in deep snow. 8ft wide double augers. It takes two people about an 1 1/2 hours + to install.

thanks for all of the replys i did own a erskin at one time and it was a piece of $hIt i think it was bcause of the solid flighting it just would not bust up the snow so i bought a lorenz its a nice machine it doesn't suck the snow in as good for powder snow ,but when it comes time to move some hard packed snow the lorenz is a good machine to have. i do know of the front mount for erskin but thats the problem you can only use there blower NO THANKS. as far as mounting and dismounting the front mount that does not bother me as come winter this is only a snow blower tractor. lorenz manufactoring they are only rated for like 70 HP and thats it. i called them and they said they would not even sell me one once i told them how much hp my tractor has (160) HP thats the reason i like the shultz is because it is rated for 250 HP and i can mount any catagory 2 point snowblower on it. thanks

I would bet it is Loftness that I have seen around, they are on tractors the size you are looking for. Did the erskine hitch you had look like the one pictured above? the one I mounted up for the local elevator was a whole lot simpler than that. Two arms came out and sat in a saddle and a ram pivoted it off of those arms, really simple to add a different blower with a little welding. All you would need to do is make a little frame to add the arms and pivot point.
