| I filled the furnace oil tank sunday night and now the furnace won't stay lit. I pumped some diesel that had some water in it, and let the barrel sit outside so the water would freeze at the bottom. Since then I haven't been able to keep the furnace running without problems. It acts like it has low fuel pressure. I have cleaned the nozzle tip twice, reset the igniter, cleaned the fuel filter and played with the adjustments. The only way I can get this fuel to burn is crank up the fuel pressure to 6-8 psi. The book calls for 2.75 psi. Does anyone have any suggestions, it almost seems that this diesel just doesn't want to burn . | |
