Had one would not own another. Mine was a rolling oil spill, kept one man busy fixing oil leaks. Had to replace the clutch 3 times in 2500 hours and did NOT have a loader on it. Electric cab heater was a joke, never worked more than 2 or 3 days at a time, finally gave up and just ran without it. The air cooled engine was fuel efficent but had all kinds of fuel system problems. Transmission rebuild at less than 2000 hrs.
I could go on but I won't, just don't think they were Agco's best, and I'm an Agco man.

Ditto frank-f's response almost word for word.  But mine is the 8610.  We finally had to put an electric fuel pump on it just to make it run.  Italians should make wine, not tractors.

That's the thing. As I understand it there really was nothing Allis about these tractors except the paint. I believe they were a rebadged SAME tractor sold by AGCO. IIRC, a guy over on ranchers.net broke one in half at the bell housing with a loader on it.

Yes I think they were rebadged Same's.
When I got mine I called it the Italian stallion, if it had been an actual horse I would have shot it.
Traded mine for an Agco RT120 and there is no comparison between the two, the 120 may be the best tractor I have ever owned.
