I bought 3 boxes of fresh cab pouches this fall and have found mice or mice turds in two of the four machines I put pouches in. I am not impressed since it costs 12 to 14 bucks a pop. The tandem even has four in it, which is at least double what the package says. I guess I'm going to find out how well their guarantee is

Highland Center, in Southeast Iowa

In a camper, dryer sheets make wonderful mouse nesting materials.

I have had good luck with dryer sheets but I can't find the right scent that they hate.

Moth Balls still work for me. Bought several boxes in a neighbor's auction a couple years ago. Guess they worked for him too.

They still work for me too, but when I want to use the combine I can't get rid of the mothball smell. The wife calls me the mothball man.

Sorry to hear it didn't work for you. We have been using Fresh Cab in our equipment for quite a while and I can't say that we have had a mouse since we started.

If Fresh Cab worked for you then you don't hace any mice. The mice ate the bag that Fresh cab came in. Must like that Bull Durham sack. Sure didn't keep the mice out.

go buy the tree fresheners.....buy the scent called black ice....it is basically some real strong bad cologne.....seems to work here. Poison boxes also scattered in the building and a poison bar on the floor in the cab. Put them were the dog can't get them however.

btw.....we had a mouse make a real nice bungalow out of those fresh start deals......I think all they are good for is smelling bad.

I bought it last year and the mice ate it!!!! This stuff is junk and does not work, it attracted them and they chewed into it and ate it. What a joke. We had it in combine and tandem as well.

we also left combine door open on the 715 and CII gleaner when we had them, dad said the cats could get the mice. the 1460 has to many hiding spots for mice, so door gets shut now.

Hi!

Sorry to hear Fresh Cab didn't work for you. It does the trick about 90% of the time according to many independant field and lab studies, and customer surveys . For the other 10% we happily provide a refund.

Mice are pretty tough to control and many factors play into thier control. The one thing I can tell you is that Fresh Cab will not stop them from coming into a treated ara to check things out ( and leave a droppings), but it will prevent them from staying to nest (or worse) most of the time. It's rare we hear this, so thats why I'm writing you.

Other factors that can play in are: serious predation (other bigger stronger rodents, or animals, where the smell of Fresh Cab is safer than their sure death); over population, multiple species heirerachy, mice with no sense of smell.

Please ask us for a refund. Our return rate is less than 1%, and we NEED to hear from people where it didn't work.

Thanks again for talking about your experience with fresh cab - kari
