Specifically a tedder?

It seems like ones of those things that may be hard to get parts for if you need them. Please let me know if you have ever had one.

Thanks

I THINK ENOROSSI MAKES SUCH GOOD PRODUCTS. YOU MAY HAVE HAD NO LUCK OR MISUSED THE TEDDER. AGCO BUYS FROM ENOROSSI SINCE 1993.

I would guess if its like most of the rakes and tedders on the market, they would be made by one to two companys, so parts would be available

I had an enrossi 2 basket. It was fine for what it was. Never had to get any parts I couldn't get through Agri-supply or a local dealer.

We have had very good luck with New Holland tedders. Them, and Deere's(knowing your prefrence) are both made by Belrecolt and have been for at leat 15 years. Don't be scared to go that route. Others that are popular here are Claas and Fella. Stick with what you have a local dealer for.

Deere and New Holland are made by Kuhn, say right on my Deere that I bought 4 years ago and the New holland is the same painted red. Has Kuhn stamped right on the parts.

Our 163 and 169 New Hollands both say made by Belrecolt in France on them. Last time I looked at new New Hollands and Deere's 3 years ago they still said it. Ours don't say Kuhn anywhere on them.

If you google Kuhn Belrecolt, a few replies come up so maybe one is a subsiduary of the other. The NH 163's look quite similar to the current Kuhn model tedder.

All Deere and New Holland tedders are made by Kuhn and always have been. Belrecolt is the name of a Kuhn facility. Frontier tedders are supplied by Kuhn, Tonutti, and Pequea.

Deere now sources tedders from Pequea via the Frontier line. I have heard more than once that the Pequea is a USA assembled clone of a Krone, but I don't know how true that is.

As far as the Italian-built tedders, Sitrex seems to have the best reputation. My Deere dealer sells Tonutti as a lower-priced alternative to Frontier, but I've not looked closely at one. I have a Morra that's a total POS.

Some of the AGCO Tedders and Rakes are Enorossi. Finding parts shouldn't be much trouble.

Parts was never the problem...finding metal thicker than a sheet of paper was. Traded for a Tonutti which is a lot better but still not a Rowse. 18 wheel rakes.

I can certainly understand that. The tedders are at least built from cast iron. Now whether or not that is thicker than a frying pan... ;)

I have a 4 star Pequea TT4000 that is 3 years old, fully hydraulic. I searched through a lot of tedders and found that that the one I bought and Krone were neck and neck. The Frontier model is simply my tedder painted green instead of red. I absolutely love the thing, we run over about 350 acres twice a year with it and it has been great so far. But dealer support is essential no matter what you buy..I tink I have some pics of it on my website if you are interested in looking at it, Good Luck
