Croswell, Michigan
A couple of months ago several guys posted pictures of simple drive over pits. I thought I save all of those pictures but apparently I lost a few. I would like to do something similar this summer and would appreciate if you guys could post those pictures again or e-mail them to me at [email protected]

Did you add onto the bottom of an auger or move the gear box up? also how did you measure the auger and or hole for the auger? dig out with backhoe and then measure and pour concrete? would like to make one for my swing or just buy a new straight auger and leave there forever.

We just took out a 20' 10 or 12" in ground pit screw yesterday. I can send you some pictures if you are interested. It dumped into a leg that was in a pit about 3' deep. Auger is in good shape. 810-404-9651 Mark

We did this 5 or 6 years ago for the auger that gets set permanently at the wet bin for harvest. Works great. No concrete needed, used bridge beams and welded up a grate.
I use the Swinger mover for two other augers that get moved all around to different bins.
