Long time agxplore user. Ran Gro Pak AI last year, Revline Hopper Throttle in '23. Gro Pak was cheaper. Have always found Agxplores price was better than many of the big companies and superior quality formulations. Do some homework on their website, lot of good information.

Definitely a reason that GroPak is cheaper… just look at the product label and you’ll know why. 10x the biology and 6x more chelated micros in the HopperThrottle/TuneUp+ pail. Enough chelated zinc in the pail to replace liquid edta through the planter, there is less than 1/4 oz of zinc in GroPak… always amazed how other farmer’s always buy cheap and then say “boy they’ve got great prices and value compared to others” and they have zero clue they are getting totally hosed because they don’t read products ingredients.

Im not real sure what you're looking at but that's not even close to true.
Gropak has 1/4 pound of sulfur Revline has none. Gropack has 1/4 lb manganese Revline has .052 lb. Gropak has 1/4 pound zinc Revline has just under 1/4 lb. I used gropak last year and will use it again. It's cheap enough to throw in and doesn't cause any issues. We try to plant early so that's why we use it. If we planted later, I wouldn't use anything.

I have people reading labels and exploring websites. Everyday this time of year have a research topic to cover on your operations inputs. Shop and compare everything, lot of smoke and mirrors still in the industry.

I've used Gropak for 6-7 years and this past year switched to gropak ai. As someone else said, use way less than the labelled rate, as the seed won't carry the labelled rate and it will end up in the hopper or in the wind. It's cheap. I think I end up <$2/ac at the rate I use. And it's showed +roi on my farm over multiple years of testing. I use it on every acre of corn and soybeans. I tested a few competitor products in the past and stuck with Gropak. It's usually the only, or one of the only, agxplore products I use, so it's not like I'm a slappy.

You made me check back through my records.
I tested their original formulation on corn in '18, '19, and '21. It was better in 4/6 comparisons and averaged 3.5 bpa better.
Beans I tested the original formulation in '18 and '20. It was also better in 4/6 comparisons but only averaged 0.7 bpa better.
Not a game changer, but for how cheap it was, and the fact that a decent amount of the cost was offset by the cost of the talc being replaced, I went with it.
I switched to the new Gropak ai formulation in 24 but didn't put any tests out.

Thank you for your info. We have used Seed Coat from Delta Ag. Never did yield checks, did do stand counts. We put it on half the planter, was not consistent.
