Rapid radios

Subject: Rapid radios


Does anyone use these Push to talk radios? They run on cell service so they are supposedly useable nationwide. Just looking for something reliable and easy for all fall equipment. Need some range for semis

They seem to work pretty good.

In central Illinois . Talked just fine.
Batterys last a long time also.

We switched from cell phones to Midland GMRS radios because of poor service in several locations.

I would have to assume that poor cellular service would affect Rapid Radios the same way.

I bought four to try out this year. The first radios they sent didn't seem to be able to hold onto cell signal very well and were not reliable. Customer service has been very good and quick communication. They sent me a different version radio and these seem to have good cell signal and work much better. So far I like them enough to keep them. The only issue is that it seems to not always connect on the first push. Almost seems to go to sleep at times and takes a push to wake them up, but for the most part, they work good and sound good.

I bought 6 and like them. Distance is not an issue. As said previously, sometimes they do go asleep. They feel like decent quality units. I bought them for when our business band won reach. I think there is a $50 service fee each year. I would buy them again.

Great little radio. If you are near cell service. We are about 3 towers short in my area. We head them in Sioux Falls, and loved them. In my area, Worthless.
