Rebuilding cylinder on 690b excavator and had to cut the nut off. Deere has it listed as nonavailable It is a 2inch fine thread 12 pitch. It is a very thick nut but I might have room for two jamm nuts/ TIA 2one7 47three 9one63

A good machinist should be able to make you one, probably for a fraction of the price.
Fine thread shouldn't need a lock, but two jam nuts should work.

How you gonna tighten it back up? It was probably originally at about 5000 pounds
Our local hydraulic shop has a fixture for tightening or loosening such nuts. It uses hydraulic cylinders to do the torquing and is capable of some unthinkable ft-lb numbers.

I tried to rebuild a stick cylinder from a 790 years ago. 4' pipe wrench, 2 of us hanging on the end of a 16' pipe, and an old guy swinging a 20 pound sledge hammer couldn't turn it. The book says 10,400 +or- 400 foot pounds.
