45 miles south spingfield il.
Rebuilding cylinder on 690b excavator and had to cut the nut off. Deere has it listed as nonavailable It is a 2inch fine thread 12 pitch. It is a very thick nut but I might have room for two jamm nuts/ TIA 2one7 47three 9one63

A good machinist should be able to make you one, probably for a fraction of the price.
Fine thread shouldn't need a lock, but two jam nuts should work.

MI

This is what you may need to put it back on to the proper torque.

I think that is the nut on grain cart spindles.
Some dealers probably have it in stock. Loctite it or beat a castle or 2.

How you gonna tighten it back up? It was probably originally at about 5000 pounds

We always cut out a wrench from 1- 1 1/4" steel, just for such a nut. Use an excavator bucket from another machine to tighten that sucker up.

Our local hydraulic shop has a fixture for tightening or loosening such nuts. It uses hydraulic cylinders to do the torquing and is capable of some unthinkable ft-lb numbers.

Not sure which cylinder or what serial number but a quick search shows that one nut is available

I tried to rebuild a stick cylinder from a 790 years ago. 4' pipe wrench, 2 of us hanging on the end of a 16' pipe, and an old guy swinging a 20 pound sledge hammer couldn't turn it. The book says 10,400 +or- 400 foot pounds.

They’re probably not used inside cylinders but my brother says the stuff at work that requires really high torque values use these nuts.
