Subject: D17 cat dozer salvage yard parts


SE IA		Does anyone know of a caterpillar D17 (d7) salvage yard? I’m looking for an exhaust manifold. It’s a 1953 cable operated dozer. Thanks

You probly mean a 17a serial prefix? I can ask my brother I think they might have one for parts here in sw iowa

SE IA		Yes it’s a D7 s/n 17a3407. I also need the pipe assembly that bolts to the exhaust manifold

I finally had a chance to stop and look. But The manifold has a hole in it

Lawton, MI		Cook equipment in allegan Michigan has a lot of salvage construction equipment, no clue if they have one of those
