Subject: CF Moto 1000 vs Polaris Ranger

South Eastern ,ILL
I wanted to pass on this information to anyone interested.
This CF Moto 1000 is really a nice machine.
I had a 600 before this one but wanted more
power & bigger SBS . Mainly because I also have a
a Polaris Ranger 1000 , which I’ve owned several of .
I enjoy both of them around the farm. Now the CF Moto
is Chinese made if that is an issue to anyone.
But when I wanted the second SBS , the 7000$
difference got my attention. Both are nice , & powerful
the CF comes with a lot of standard features that are
not on the Ranger. The Ranger is probably a tad nicer
but not 7 grand worth IMO. If you’re looking check
The CF out.

It’s all good. Sometimes it is hard not to feel a wee bit jealous of someone that can buy enough seed to qualify, but then I have to think that where I live.

No wildfires, no snakes, rarely any hail or tornadoes, drought? Don’t know what that is.
No earthquakes.

Maybe I should just go buy a new SxS. Lol.

Northern Indiana
My neighbor has one and the 4 wheeler.

We have rode them both. When we were looking at a utility vehicle we definitely thought hard about one. The warranty seems impressive. Price is reasonable, I just was skeptical about the resale.

We ended up with a can am defender HD10 limited. So far we are loving it. But it was stupid expensive.

Maybe if we were to buy a second one it would be a CF moto.

The thing to consider mathematically, is you would have had 50% as many dollars depreciating. In the end, you most likely would have been Money ahead buying the CF moto from pure dollars and cents standpoint.

Where did you get the tip out windshield to fit your CF Moto?

I wouldn’t be surprised it came as standard equipment. Massimo motors is another Chinese owned company building value machines, assembled in Texas. They have a collaboration with Yamaha to use their engines, albeit not the latest, greatest Yamaha technology, but similar to what what top of the line Yamaha 20 years ago. Which is still very good quality. Can buy a new 850 Massimo loaded with features as standard equipment that would have to be purchased as add on’s on brand name machines for under $13,000. Can get the 550 for under $9,000. They are a great machine for the money, problem is dealer support. Most of the dealers are farm store types, no service department. Inability to do trades.

I have been thinking about getting a second SXS and with the stupid price of the "name brand" machines, I have decided that I need to give CF Moto a good look. I actually just searched on AgTalk CF Moto yesterday to get some reviews from fellow farmers. So far, everything I have read about the company is that they make a quality product at a reasonable cost. Dealer support may be more difficult as they are not as prolific as the other dealerships in the area.
