Subject: Gooseneck trailer backup lights

BC, Canada
Going to be putting a set of LED back up lights on a gooseneck flatdeck trailer. I don't need them as work lights, just back ups. As it always seems to be dark after chores when I park the trailer. I am thinking about putting them low under the deck towards the front of the trailer. Trailer is used mainly for hauling round bales, I figured if I put them on the neck they would get smashed off.
Where are yours? Thanks

Havent done it yet but going to have two up on the neck for loading and two right on the back I beam for backing up. Got two back up lights on my backrack on a three position toggle switch for auto (come on when I put truck in reverse), off and manually on so I will hook into that so I can have them on if loading or just when backing up.

Near-north Ontario, French River
Out a pair at the top of the trailer on the rear, and another pair midway along the side, either on bottom rail or midway up the side.

Use flush mount ones in heavy plate. I haven't gotten them put in our new gooseneck yet but here's an example of the same light which I used for side lights. Also cut them into bumpers of pickups.

Where is a good place to buy the flush mount lights? Look like a good idea.

ebay should have them, sometimes some places on amazon will have a pretty good price too if you only want to buy a couple.

I use them everywhere.

On the SSL in this position they work better than the cab mounted ones offered IMO because they light up the tires so you can see where they are at and the light up everything directly to the side close to machine. They shine out fairly far but in a skid steer seeing up close is more important to me. Plus the boom will never block it. After I put the first one on all of the guys kept bugging me to get the one put in the other side. They're protected well being flush also.

They are 24w
