400 BC3. It's an 87 model with 1.5 million miles on it. We have had it since 93.

Lol. Oh I see! Friday I would have sold it after I slipped and fell out of it! Love the old girl and probably will never sell it but a guy has to be careful when it's muddy and slick out!

Poly fenders, single fenders for each truck axle.

Question for the grain haulers here. Do you drop air out when unloading, how close are fender to tires and trailer? Did you raise your 5th wheel on tractor, if you did how did you raise it, would like to have fenders over both drive axles if this matters. Sure getting tired of dirty trailer, ESP over the drive wheels.

I don't drop the air when unloading, but since this isn't a big operation, the air is often out of the bags by the time we dump on the trailer with the grain cart.   I mounted the finders so they pretty much sit on top of the tires when the bags are empty and the axles are against the stops.    I didn't change anything on the 5th wheel and think it's standard height.   No problems.   I put fenders on because i was worried about throwing a rock threw the back window of truck.

Jackson County....... Southwest Minnesota
I put Minimizers on mine lay a hose over the tire when putting on and dump the air then mount fenders should be ok on clearance then..... if you have a low 5th wheel riser which many over the road trucks have you will need to buy a taller one for trailer clearance

Fleetline stainless 16 gauge smooth full fenders. They have been on the trucks awhile and we haven't broken a mirror, heard stones bouncing off of the back of the cab, and the fifth wheel plates on our trailers are much cleaner

I have full stainless fenders. I like them the best and they will last. Just make sure you get ones with a center support and get the rolled edges. Keeps them from cracking. As for 5th wheel with a hopper you do want leg extensions for your 5th wheel to keep it from ever touching your fenders.

Want cheap or expensive? I'm cheap. So cut a full coverage aluminum in half and made my own brackets. Maybe have 150 bucks into a truck.

I went with the single fenders because I figured we would tear them off and then I could replace individually. It really does a good job keeping the dirt and grim off the truck.

For abusive environments, Minimizers or Fleet Engineers poly fenders. Stainless fenders look the best and last the longest providing nothing hits them.  Painted to match Fiberglass double hump or individual fenders look even better but are very fragile. Some of the styles look dumb but to each their own.  Minimizer does offer chrome poly which looks surprisingly good but is very expensive. The single black minimizer fenders are like $120 each without mounts and lifetime warranty. Lay a 4x1 across the tires when you install them with the air dropped, that will get the height right above the tires, remember tread depth too. Then install risers for 5th wheel if needed.

Same as any, find a bolt to remove, or drill a hole.
