Wi | Justin ArkMo - 7/26/2013 15:32 Many bought them here in the early 2000's. Those guys now run 8XXX deeres. Electronic nightmare, sticker price, and that goofy 6th post in the cab obstructs view.
Fendt's have come along way with regards to operator comfort. Honestly I didn't mind the old cabs, I felt they were cozy and the controls were laid out fairly well. Deere and CNH both had big cabs though. I will say the X5 cab Fendt now has is very nice and laid out much simpler than before, in fact it seems more simple than any other cab. With regards to the 6 post cab, its now a 5 post however Agco still uses a 6 post on the smaller Masseys so Fendt was not the only one using 6 post cabs. The Genesis tractors also had 6 post cabs. Personally I do not like 4 post cabs. Due to the issues with our Agco/MF's i would much rather have the Fendt 5 post and know that the door is going to shut, stay shut and not break.
