Northwest Iowa

Corn leaves and husk are getting between the seive and the chaffer at the back of the machine. Any remedies to this problem?

Agent Orange: Friendly fire that keeps on burning.

Take out the rear row of chaffer fins. That will leave a big enough opening for the leaves to escape.

MAKE SURE THE SCREENS ARE ON THE BELLY OF THE COMBINE. MINE DID THIS ONCE AND THAT WAS THE PROBLEM.

I had that problem once this year too. Thought maybe it was because I had the deck plates to tight and was pulling in too much stalk.
