I don,t know how I feel about it. I don,t won,t to be hey look at me.

I started with some fleeces for the fun of it for Christmas a couple years ago. Then t-shirts, coffee mugs. Wife did it through Land's End. Really nice quality stuff. Once you pay logo set-up it doesn't cost much more and every now and then they have free logos as a promotion so all you buy is the shirt ! Pretty STO, sometimes wonder if the neighbors chuckle, but WTH.

I'm thinking of getting a few caps, jackets, or something similar with my small welding business' logo on it for customers, etc. As for me, no name on my shirt. When I sold Deere equipment a few years back, they wanted me to wear the standard green uniform shirts with my name on it. I told the boss I didn't go to college to wear a shirt with my name on it. I was asking people to spend many, many thousands of dollars with me and the least I could do is wear a nice shirt and look professional while doing so. They cancelled my uniforms and it never came up again.

I have some I got from Gemplers but a local place will do them too.  Mine just have my first name on the right side and Neubauer Farms over the left pocket.  Main reason I got them done is I was tired of being called Clint or Chris and it reduced how often people think I am my brother even though we look nothing alike.

West Union, Illinois

I've been thinking about it.  It would be especially easy for me as I have a couple friends in the business.  Anything I can put on a computer screen Danny at Honeville can print. He did some t-shirts for out family reunion with the old farm home on them.

Another friend does screen printing and embroidery.  He is making me a dozen hats today.  I am thinking of having him make me a farm show hat with Mike SE IL with the AgTalk logo under it

No phone numbers, addresses, names of people or farms on shirts, jackets, trucks, trailers, signs etc... Just another way for another crook to add you to they're list of folks to rob, accuse of wrong doing or steal from. Our horse stable has a name as does the farm, we just don't advertise it.

Maybe you can do that down there. Here we need to have farm name and DOT number on trucks.

I like to have them....ever since I started tech school, I've had a shirt with my name on it and you know what? I don't feel the least bit slighted by it at ALL. Heck even my last company truck had my name on the side, plus the company I worked for. I showed up to make sure guys $250,000+ machines worked right, they didn't think I was not professional because I had my name on my shirt. Now my company truck is my old farm truck.

My mom has a sewing machine that we can load pictures, insignias and other stuff into, and the sewing machine stitches it on there. Just a picture of a semi, or tractor, and Miller Family Farms. No phone numbers, or personal information. My grandad started it 20 years ago, getting shirts made for us kids for Christmas. Do I do it for everyone to look at me? Nope, it isn't any different then wearing a John Deere, Cat, IH, Iowa Hawkeye, Nebraska Corn Husker, or Chicago Cubs shirt. I root for the home team, Miller Family Farms. That's were my blood, sweat, and tears have been shed, it has made me the person I am, why should I not wear it on my shirt? I do not hand them out, and we don't hire people so no employees to wear them.

Michael
