I have a Ditch Witch loader with a TMD 27 Continental diesel..Hours and hours looking for a starter for it..still nothing...armature is shot on the old one...Anyone know of someone who could help me out fixing this thing?

There was a few older Lincoln Pipeline welders that had the Red Seal Continental engines. Might try them, I believe remember Dad saying some IH tractors had Continental engines in them. Hope this helps.
Some years ago we got some Continental parts from NAPA for a fork lift. Maybe a automotive electrical shop could overhaul the old starter it all else fails.
And as mentioned Massey Harris and Ferguson tractors used Continental engines, but that was many years ago.

after spending 4 hours yesterday on internet and phone....dead ends all over.....Bernie there knows starters inside and out... Could have sent me a new armature, or rebuilt mine..Or send me an updated heavier one that is a direct replacement... Wow, 3 options... It's on order.... thanks fellas; go AG_TALK !!!

Have a Continental (427) gas not exactly sure on the cubes, in the shed for sale along with misc parts. It's out of a Fox chopper. It's not a flathead. For parts only. [email protected]

Have gotten a lot parts from them over the last25 yrs. Last starter I got for my Oliver 1650 D was the best and it was built in house. Glad I could help.
