| Speaking of Steiger Green when did Case IH start painting some of the STX 4-wheel drives Green again seen one last week @ L&O Acres, Westport SD sitting in there yard (sorry no pics didn't have camera with) wondering if it is a 1 time deal for them (heard once upon a time they got a lot of money as somewhere in the family tree they were related to the Steigers and part of the original agreement with Case IH was to continue at least some of the tractors in Steiger GREEN) does anyone know?? Palestine Illinois | I had a friend paint one a few years ago, he said the paint cane from the local parts store, it was something like 1974 Roadrunner green. I am sure it was roadrunner green but am not sure about the year.

NE S.Dakota | I wonder if this is the one that was specially painted for the 50th Anniversary. I saw it in the farm magazines, it sure seems like it went to a farmer near Westport.
It was a "one of a kind" deal.

It was a one time paint job done by the factory in honor of the 50th Anniversary of Steiger. There is a family connection between L&O acres and the Steiger's, I"m just not sure exactly what it is.
