Subject: Trimble GFX 350 and NAV controller accuracy


NW Oh		Looking at the GFX 350 and NAV 500 and wondering how tight of accuracy are they capable of besides WAAS or RTX Can ya run CORs on them? Does a NAV 900 help the accuracy? Struggling to find much info on them.

Brandon, SD		NAV 500 is WAAS or Viewpoint RTX only. NAV 900 can run Rangepoint RTX, Centerpoint RTX, and RTK.

NW Oh		Thx Dalton. Do you know if you can run CORS correction on a 900? Would it require an unlock to RTK and a modem?

Brandon, SD		You can run CORS with the 900, either receive with gx450 modem, or you can unlock VRS in the display and just WiFi from your phone/tablet.

Brandon, SD		1 time unlock, you need RTK unlock as well. I’d suggest jumping to the XCN1050/GFX750 if you want to go to RTK with nav 900. Cost structure of the 900 by itself right now with the gfx350/xcn750 display is the same as the bigger display.

There are some programs right now that can reduce the price on the 1050 so it’s even cheaper than the 350 with a 900.
