Seaforth, Ontario | Where would I find the specs or more info on a Agchem Terra gator? I think it's an older liquid machine, 1803 with a cat in it. Any opinions or things to look for would be appreciated as I don't have any experience with these machines. I need a simple cheap machine to do a couple thousand acres. Thanks.

St. Charles, MO & Piper City, IL | I ran one these for 4 years. 1803 is a good machine. Some had the 18 spd trans. Some had the Torque boost also. Still ran the JD rear end but had outboard brakes. We changed the oil in them sring and fall and they served us well. Little longer wheelbase so they road better. All in all a good tight machine.

Kansas | Reading material on these machines on the net leaves alot to be desired doesn't it Ken? I've been looking for reading material too. My best luck so far is finding a veteran driver of one and then a mechanic for them and pick thier brains over a shop b.s. session. Seems like I always have a dozen more questions when I can't find them or get ahold of them to ask though. First two numbers of the model tell you the Tank size number. 1803....... 1800 gallon tank. 1603........ 1600 gallon tank and accordingly. Last number is how many wheels I have finally discovered tonite. the 5 wheeled ones model number end in 5. Your 1803 ending with a 3 has 3. So on so forth. Also, dealer told me yesterday.......well, used jockey..........that last two digits on serial number stamped on frame will tell you the year. I dunno for very certain about that one. Turbo series end with a "T" but I found an 1803 yesterday with a 3208 cat that was turbo charged so that doesn't make a helluva lotta sense either since it wasn't an 1803T. Good Luck, response on this forum about these machines isn't alot except skepticism and repeated rhetoric. I find anything I'll let you know, if you run across any reading material I'd appreciate a heads up notice also. Thanks.

Brazilton KS | Our 2505 has a turbo and it is not a "T." It doesn't have a 2500 gallon tank, either, but perhaps it could have. It does have 5 wheels though!

MN | all 2505's were turboed... The T does stand for turboed models.. IIRC the T's were later models... last digits mean # of wheels.. They are built right here in town... will have to ask the old man.. he worked there in the late 70's through 1990... if you guys have specific questions... let me know.. girlfriend's father is national service rep.. hes been there since mid 70's used to wrench on them im sure he can answer lots of questions....

Seaforth, Ontario | Operated a 1603 for 3 years on about 4000 acres per year. I think it came from Seaforth area about 15 years ago. May have had liquid originally, but was dry fertilizer spreader with Raven controller on it when I drove it. Fast on the road, especially climbing into it after driving Versatile 800, more than twice as fast; wear seat belt! Call me at 527-1246 if you think I could help. John

Seaforth, Ontario | John, I thought I knew everyone in this sleepy little town. Thanks for the info. The is a 1803 coming up at a sale that if it goes cheap enough I'd like to try to save the sprayer from 28% work if possible. I won't be looking at this machine for a couple weeks so I may post again once I've seen it for more info. The s/n is L180138 if anyone can help with that. TIA Ken

Seaforth, Ontario | Ken, we came to Seaforth in middle of November for a visit; been snowbound til now. That`s my story. Actually, we did move in then, so we`re newbies. It`s nice to finally see the backyard grass.
