Wanting to know the good and the bad on these particular Allis models. Thinking they were made in France at the MF factory, so are they the same as the MF 8100 series? 32 speed transmissons in them all I believe.
Also anyone with experiences with the Allis 8630/7650 tractors? yes the Italian Allis!!!!!!

I have a 8140 massey, I have not been impressed, nothing serious other than a computer a couple times, mainly little things that annoy the heck out of me. shifting linkage always works loose, heater knobs break when using in the cold. It is not the smoothest riding tractor but it will really go, I believe around 25.

We have had a myriad of problems with our 9745.....computer snafus, three point, front end, frame, most constant is electrical. The cab is more claustrophobic than the Deere and Case....There are better tractors out there. This one has the funk tranny 18 speed by far the best part of the tractor.

I only have experience with the RT series. I know you would not be dissapointed with a RT130 with a CVT transmission. That transmission is ahead of every other color of tractor out there.
I don't think AGCO knows that however. I think AGCO is waiting for everyone else to catch up.

Stay away from the Itallian Allis, had an 8630 and it was very problematic.
Traded it for a RT 120 with cvt and have had very good luck with it so far.

We've got a 6144 White which is the same tractor as the 9435 except the White has a Cummins motor.

Been a good tractor so far, I think it has a little over 4000 hrs on it. We've put about 2800 hrs on it and have had very few problems and not much $ spent on it.

The electric controls for the 3pt hitch can be a little temperamental sometimes.

The parking brake SUCKS. It will barely hold the tractor by itself on any kind of incline let alone on a hill with something heavy behind it.

The 32 spd trans is good. Sometimes it would be nicer to have a full ps but there are a lot of gears to chose from in the 32 spd. Really moves down the road, 26 mph with 18.4x42's. Can be rough riding at times due to a short wheelbase.

From what I have heard about the little Italian Agco Allis and White tractors I would stay far away from those. Here's a thread with some owner experience with a Agco White 6085 built by SAME, doesn't sound real appealing.

Subject: Kooiker Do you use your 6144 in the cold?

Wisconsin
Our 6144 will start very easy and run but the hydraulic temp. light comes on so nothing hydraulic work's. We just park it for winter but if you could lead me in a direction to fix and use I would try it. Local dealer isn't much help as they push NH tractor's over Massey or White. I wanted a plug in Hydraulic heater such as a CaseIH or other but can't locate one to work on the White.

The hyd filter light comes on for a little while when its cold but everything has always worked fine albeit slow for a bit til the oil warms up.
It will never let you shift the 4 spd until the oil warms up, it stays in D until the sensor tells it its warm enough. Sometimes it seems to take a long time for it to get warm enough but eventually it always does.

The biggest problem we have with it in the cold weather is keeping fuel flowing through the filter beside/under the cab.

You could maybe try one of those wrap around/stick on filter heaters on the hyd filter.
I'm thinking I'm going to get one for the fuel filter that always gives us problems.

Sorry I can't help much.

South Western Ontario
We have owned all three models if you consider a RT135 the same as a RT130. The 9745 has a very good motor with the SISU diesel, ours has 4800 hours on it and we purchased it used. The only problem we had was a pto sensor that pulled more current then required dropping the voltage on the transmission. This would occur when you were moving forward and using the PTO, when that happened the tractor would turn of the PTO. Took the dealer a few days to find it due to the nature of the unit. It would work fine when cold, but let it warm up and it would pull 15% more current then normal.....oh well. This engine is dynoed at 193 hp. This tractor replaced an Agco Allis 9650. Both of these tractors had teh 18speed power shift. On the 9650, there was a heavy shift between 9/10th gears. Now they are two hard shifts in 6/7th and 12/13th.

The 9435 was a 2WD model which we purchased new and used for 2800 hours. As people mention the 32 speed transmission is good. I wish it had more power shift gears when pulling hopper wagons out of the field onto the road. Engine was Detroit Diesel DT466, no problems with the engine. Our only problem was the automatic solenoid to turn the fuel pump on/off. It failed at 1950 hours. The engine was putting out 185 on the dyno and the transmission held up to it. The only problem with this motor was it used more fuel than a Sisu. We traded it as we wanted a MFWD tractor to replace it.

On the RT135 it has been an excellent tractor. We have 1400+ hours on it without any problems with the exception of bleeding the brakes after changing the hydraulic filter. First tractor that would put air in the brake system. Our unit has the 32mph CVT tranny with suspended front axle/cab. We put on 600hours/year and have no problems with it and would buy another one in a second. When the 9745 goes, we will get a RT150 or DT series with CVT to replace it.
