Waldron, MI | I'm having trouble with the grain temperature reading on my GSI top dry. There are 4 temp probes and I'm pretty sure on of them is bad but how can I test them to figure out which one?
Sometimes the reading seems accurate but once it starts heating up the temp with go way up to 140-150 and there is no way my grain temp is that hot. |

northeastern Ohio | Here is the troubleshooting manual: http://www.grainsystems.com/content/dam/Brands/GSI/Manuals/English/...
Look on page 23 for the resistance readings for the temp probes and test each one to see if it matches the chart. |

Ohio | When this happens it could be a temperature probe, but more likely you have a plugged column of grain around a probe. If you get the dryer chamber cleaned out, refill see if that makes a difference. I clean ours almost weekly. With this damp weather we have had, plugging issues are more prevalent right now. If this happens to our dryer that is my first place to look. |

western NY | There should be a box that all the probe wires go into, loosen the cover and see if it has water in it. That is what the cause of my troubles was. |
