| I have a Limbhog that I use on my loader tractor. It works as advertised and has been handy to have around. Use it at least once a year. Hope that helps. |

| I do not have one. But it seems like something i want. Watching. |

Lawton, MI | Have one that I use on a loader tractor, can make a mess in a hurry. Would be a little handier on skid loader, but works. |

NW Indiana | I have a turbo saw on my skidsteer and love it. I have the low flow green one |

Statesville, NC | I have a Wolff Limb Clipper. It's a simple, low priced hydraulic shear for limbs. It is made to go on a bale spear attachment on a front end loader or skid steer. It swings free on a pipe that slides over the spear. This way, it can pivot so it doesn't bind. Instead of using it on a bale spear, I made a dedicated mount for it, about 8' long. It works very well, and you can grab the limbs after you shear them off and move them out of the way or load on a trailer. http://www.wolffmfg.com/id7.html |

Black Hawk County, IA | Have a Montezuma tree saw that can cut a tree off, or rotate the head 90* and trim limbs. Has been great so far. J |

Central Iowa | Not on skid steer, but on a loader works well. I don't see any reason a Limb Hog wouldn't work well on a skid steer. |

NC KS | I have a limb hog. I like it for trimming trees along edge of fields and creeks. Supposedly not easy to pinch chain but it is for me. I mounted it on its own plate. Had to beef up tube after 1 pinching episode. I extended its reach at the same time. Always trying to saw a 15" limb 18' in the air. Haven't run it since but need to.
Skid steer lacks the height and would probably have better visibility on a tractor loader. |
