Used my MX170 as sprayer tractor during season. Switched to a Grain Cart on it PTO would not function.
Light by lever comes on flashing when you engage the lever. There is a rear PTO fuse in fuse panel and it is good, hasn't blown.
Did power wash in between.
What to check to try to find problem, thanks in advance. |

| Need to get fault code. Turn key on while not touching seat, turn PTO on and count the flashes. It will be a 2 digit code. Like 2 flashes a pause and 5 flashes |

Nw iowa | Was looking at one of those mx170. How do you like yours other than pto switch. How many hours if you don’t mind me asking. |

I really like mine, tough little tractor for it's size. Some hyd leaks is about all I've dealt with. |

The Internet | Is the rev counter working? When my MX135 PTO started playing up there was an issue with the alternator wire and the second time it was the wire to the operator presence switch on the seat, it had chafed where the seat mechanism scissors. |

SW Ohio | Does the tachometer work? If not check the little wires coming out of the alternator. The PTO won't turn on if it's not reading the RPM |

I took shaft out to make it easier the get sprayer pump off.

When I am out of the seat and turn the key on, when I engage PTO lever green light comes on once, pauses and then blinks 3 times.
Is this a code anyone recognizes?
