South Georgia | The air line fitting blew out of the seat switch in the 3330 sprayer today. I'm 99% sure it's the same switch as Deere uses, but there may be some minor differences. These things don't last that long, seems I replace one in something almost every year. Does anybody have a source to get them significantly cheaper than Deere and CIH? There's a Sears part number on it, but I didn't really find much better prices by googling that number. CIH wanted about $50, and I'm pretty sure Deere is in that ballpark for theirs, too. That's nuts for something so small with such a high failure rate in my opinion. Also, they all fail exactly the same way, but I guess they don't have to do better, I keep buying them anyway. That switch in the picture is from 2011, so it's kinda old. It still shouldn't fail, I agree. It's available from any truck shop worth its salt, I think about 45 bucks. I have part numbers at the shop. Email me in the am, I'll look up my info on them, I can't find the post I thought I gave the information on. Maybe I didn't post it, I thought I did.

MO | I'd like to know too. Mine failed in the 4420 sprayer. Heartland stocked it and the parts guy knew exactly what I was talking about so it must be a fairly common problem.

Thanks, but that's not really a whole lot cheaper than through Deere or Case. Surely it ought to be available for $25 somewhere I'd think. Thanks, Adrian

I don't think there's any argument about it bring a common problem, no matter which color machine you're talking about. Every time I've ever needed one, it was in stock, which I think says it all. Western ND | i put one like this in dads 3310 after the factory one broke. I had one out of another seat base lying around and seen that there was a provision for it in the sprayer base so a little rerouting of some wires and an air line we were back in business. The hardest part was finding a fitting for the air line. (switch (full).jpg) Attachments ---------------- ![]()

Shelburne Ontario Canada | Hose is plumbed too tight out back of arm rest. Hose should be clamped firm in armrest after switch install but its not..... i have used super glue on install that goes along time.

What would you call that switch? Adrian

All the prices I found for the Sears number were around $47-48. If I can find that part for $37, I'll get one to keep on hand. Thanks Adrian

Adrian I just googled air seat switch to get the picture, I know some aftermarket tractor seats use them and a lot of Caterpillar equipment does too. I think you can find them for about the same $ as the OEM piece of plastic junk. EDIT, just found this after seeing the above link. http://www.tractorseats.com/p-837-km-1000100312001201-air-switch-ki... Edited by LJKCK 6/27/2018 13:39
