Subject: Demco Grain Cart

NE IOWA/ SE SD
Its obvious from past posts many are fans of the Brent grain carts.

Pricing new grain carts while trying to pinch pennies, just wondered are there any real worries about Demco's (prone to breakages, etc.)

Or do people shy away just cause they are cheaper.

Also, has anyone had a chance to use their new adjustable spout on the demco? I've used a neighbors Brent and liked it, but don't know anyone with a demco.

TIA

Intersting. I'll have to compare empty weights of the 850s

Comparing apples to apples this is wierd

Empty -
Brent - 11480 SPECS HERE
Unverferth - 9200#  SPECS HERE
Demco- 10490#

One difference is unload auger is 20" on a Brent,  17" on the Unverferth, and 18" on the Demco

We got a 1050 demco this year and really like it. Ive never been around any other moveable spouts to compare to the but Demco worked very well.

I've run a Demco 550 for 2 seasons and it's still like new. I've been quite happy with it and my 7810 handles it nicely.

We have a 650 Demco with adjustable spout and really like it, i'd definately recommend buying one, handles everything we have wanted it to do, as long as it lasts 10 years down the road i will be happy, so far have had no problems after 2 years, i am sure you will like it.

We have had a Demco 800 grain cart for 2 years with a scale from Central City Scales and have had no problems at all. Great grain cart. The new adj. spout would be nice.
