Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80 | Spraying yesterday, about 3-4 times, when I would flip the Master Switch back "ON" the screen wouldn't change, thus No Spray. {I flipped it up and down a couple of times, then it would work, normally}
I use the Master, at each turn, because the "pink" boom coverage(Booms OFF), on the monitor helps me see where to "turn in" on the next rows. Note: I did build a foot controlled implement switch(dimmer switch), but it doesn't change the Integra screen to "pink" when I operate it, so I'm back to using the Master Switch on the SC110 console. As one person mentioned earlier, that Ag Leader could sure improve their "screen colors" because in the sunlight, it is too hard to see the difference "boom width verses coverage"= this is why I use the master switch, so often.
Anyone had the Master Switches, replaced? Common toggle or something special? (like gold plated contacts, internally, for low voltage electronics) Thanks (SC110_ in paint program (full).jpg) Attachments ---------------- SC110_ in paint program (full).jpg (81KB - 244 downloads)

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | An option would be to use your dimmer switch as the Master switch. You would need a jumper for the implement switch connection on the liquid module. The dimmer switch could be wired to use the brown connector on a stub branch coming from the SC110 switch box. This is the unused connector above the SC110 in your picture. The Auxiliary Input settings would need to be changed in the spray configuration so the system watches for E1 instead of the Master Assuming the dimmer switch has three terminals. One is common and is connected to one or the other of the remaining pair. When you step on the switch the common is then connected to the other terminal. Determine which one the three is common and connect it to Pin 2 of a Deutsch Brown connector. Connect one of the other terminals on the dimmer to Pin 1 of the brown connector. Connect the remaining terminal on the dimmer to Pin 3 of the brown connector. Now either Pin 1 (12 V) is connected to pin 2 (E1 - new Master) OR pin 3 (switch detect) is connected to pin 2. Each time you step on the switch Pin 2 becomes connected to the opposite terminal. This means that Pin 2 (E1) is always connected to either Pin 1 or Pin 3. Go into the Auxiliary Input settings and you should see SWITCH as the Master, Change this to E1. Now the system will watch the dimmer switch and pay no attention to the original Master switch on the SC110 switch box. I do this with my phone remote that I use to check my booms. I have a test configuration that uses E1, E2, E3 and E4. By pushing a special button on the phone I can turn on each boom individually to check for leaks or problems. When I'm certain that everything is fine, I return to the tractor and chose the actual configuration I normally use for spraying which watches the usual boom switches. Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80 | Thanks for the reply, Tedbear. I still have my implement switch jumper, for liquid control module, on the sprayer.(in tractor's ash tray/cup holder) I feel, I will stick with using the Master toggle switch = I have the SC110 switchbox, located separately, in my JD4440 tractor, right above the ash tray, and it works fine verses my foot dimmer switch, which was my 2nd option. Note: I had to add a small amber LED marker light, to that foot dimmer switch, so I had a clue to whether it was Activated or Not.
Thanks for the offer, on more explanation(on alternative wiring), but I will do what is necessary, to fix or replace the master toggle switch. {Got 2nd corn spraying done, yesterday, and need to wait a little, before final soybean spraying}
Edit: I see you have already edited your reply and gave me the info, Thanks again. Edited by 4WD 5/27/2018 12:58

Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80 | Well, I just opened up the back of the SC110 and there is nothing in there for "me" to replace = 2 green circuit boards and all 11 toggle switches looked to be soldered into place on the lower circuit board.(used flashlight to look in there) I just put it back together and reinstalled it in the tractor, and turned on the Integra, just to see if the Master still worked = it does.
I'll just wait and see if it acts up, any more during soybean's spraying at the 3rd trifoliate.

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I have noticed on other electronic devices that sometimes a switch doesn't work this year when it was fine last year. I used to work on Raven 440's quite a bit. On those it was easy to replace a switch but wan't always necessary. An old trick when a switch didn't seem to be reliable was to flip it ON/OFF several times. Apparently corrosion had gotten built up a bit in the off season. Flipping it ON/OFF several times must have cleaned up the contacts and could bring an old switch back to life.

Somewhereville, Earth | you can put a aux master switch on them and connect to the wiring harness and disable that master switch, or re assign another switch of the 10 there to keep you going. the aux master switch is good, especially if you are changing gears never repaired one, i guess someone with more time and patience then me could do it lol Edited by pudding 5/30/2018 15:57

Black Stump | Same switch is used for all section switches so if you are handy with a soldering iron you can move say section 10 to the master (of course if you use all of your switches you are stuffed)
