Not sure if this is quite what you have in mind, but works well in the heat of Tx.

Northwest kansas

This jug has easily been the best thing I have purchased recently. WILL NOT LEAK. Also, actually insulation. The jug is quite large because of the 1" insulation around the entire thing. Only thing with this jug is you need a bottle to drink out of.

I’ve got one of these, maybe not as big as you want but don’t leak and the spout stays clean since it’s under the cap.

This Under Armour jug doesn't leak and works pretty good. Gotta fill with ice if you want it cold all day tho.

Wife and girls got me a 1 gallon yeti for early father's day present. AWESOME, I absolutely love it, it's heavy but it's stable, no leaks and COLD. Don't put too much ice in or you will run out of water because it does not melt during the day

countryflunky,

Not insulated, but I still haven't found anything that beats an old fashioned milk jug. Handle is great, they're stable, and they hang perfectly on a 3-point arm crank.

Price is right too.

Got the 1 gal Yeti for my Birthday. Only problem ive had is I must put it in a plastic bucket so when it bangs against the tractor glass it doesn't break the glass.

Marginal at best and getting worse each day! Thought I had my soys in great moisture. Spent lot of time checking. Came back 5 days of wind later and half are sprouting others laying in dry. Fun stuff. No rain yet. They say tonite maybe. Won't believe it until it happens. Only forecasting a qrtr inch or so tho. Oh well better than we are today

Yes it seems like Western 1/3 of ND is getting punished for some reason :(. 90% chance today and only wind. Don't think we will even plant beans unless it rains

Also got a 1 gallon Yeti for a birthday present. Been using it lately in 90 degree Texas heat and it holds ice a couple days. Doesn't tip over and is easy to drink out of with no dribbling down your shirt. Best jug I've had.

I have a small soft-sided cooler that holds 8 water bottles. Stable, does not tip, liquid of your choice in each bottle, I just put bottles back in them upside down when empty.

I was actually getting ready to ask on here about small 12V coolers and then the water is always guaranteed cold in the cab.

I also have a big thermos to keep cold things really cold.

Same as a yeti and almost $100 cheaper. Fill it every morning and put a little ice in it and it stays cold all day even when it's over 90°

I just got a rtic half gallon jug this spring. I can fill it one morning and still have ice the next morning after sitting in the truck. The bad thing is it tips over pretty easily but the lid doesn't leak. I have a 24 oz rtic I refill out of the jug and that fits in the cup holder of the tractor pretty good

1/2 gallon RTIC. I built a square box out of 2x4's that keeps it from tipping over.

The best one is the old 1 gallon round Thermo I had a bout 40 years ago. About 1’ in diameter, didn’t tip over, had a screw on cap that kept the drinking spout clean.
I’d give $50 for one if anybody has a good one stashed in the closet.

I've got one like this, 1/3 gallon Coleman if the link doesn't work, it was a freebie from Garst seed corn 20+ years ago. Not enough water for a real long day, but it has never leaked and it's small enough you can usually find a place to put it where it won't fall off. Except once mowing alfalfa on a steep hill it fell off and the rear tractor wheel ran over it enough to shoot it about 20 feet, but it lived through it.

They can be had on eBay for much less than $50. I bought a barely used one for about $25 to the door. Bleached it good and mentally returned to the 80's cutting weeds out of beans. Grandpa and dad both had those jugs and now I can drink with my boys. And they never tip over.

We use milk jug too, fill it half to 2/3 full of water and freeze it, once frozen solid fill to top with water, and put plastic groceries bags around it. Most of the time I use 4 to 6 bags around the jug, but sometimes I have used as many as fifteen bags at once around the jug, makes a huge difference in how long the ice will last. Sometimes I have to take the plastic bags off to get the ice to melt faster so I can have some water to drink.

Similar to that, but mine had a screw on cap on the spout, dirt didn't get on the spout as long as you kept the cap screwed on. I had one like that with the flip thing, and it broke off and was lost, used a whittled stick to plug it for a while. Mine was like the green one above the big ad.
