Challenger mt525b, what are these tractors like? Never been around one and don’t see many in these parts and can’t find much on any searches. 2 wheel drive 5000hrs anything major to look at? TIA

they are a massey with yellow paint. not familiar with that model, but I've got a 665 with cvt, and the cvt is awesome. If it weren't for cvt, I think I would lean toward red or green just because of parts/svc availability in this area.

my biggest pita is broken hyd hoses under the cab. very troublesome to reach. no panel in floor like red tractors.

your never gonna know that till you use it.

The 525B is the same as a Massey Ferguson 5465 (100 PTO Hp) - very solid, reliable tractor. 6 Cylinder Perkins engine - nice package for this size tractor.

Have a MT 535B with CVT and been a very good tractor. I have about 3500 hrs on mine. Replaced a clutch switch and that has been it. Cabs are nice, quiet, good visibility. Air keeps you cool. Cheap on fuel. Has a little box above your head on the right side that you can strap a drink or put a sandwhich in which the air runs thru it keeping it cool. That is really nice too.

Actually the MT475B is the same as the Massey 5465 have flange axles and the 525B has a bar axle. Other than that I would guess they are the same and are good smooth running tractors.
