South Central MN | I have been using Tomcat mouse bait in bait boxes and thought it was working but a post a couple of days ago mentioned that this brand was no good. What is better? |

Southeastern Tipton County, Indiana | bigcountry - 12/7/2017 10:38 I have been using Tomcat mouse bait in bait boxes and thought it was working but a post a couple of days ago mentioned that this brand was no good. What is better? We switched to the red colored Jaguar Bait Chunx and finally got a severe mouse problem in our shop stopped. Tomcat was injested but the mice were still around. |

Sac & Story county IA | Carbon monoxide works pretty good. If I see a hole, put the tube in for 10 minutes. The red Jaguar does work better than most. Raccoons can eat $50 worth of it just to make you mad. Just makes their poop red. Maybe lowers their blood pressure? |

Barryton, MI | Assault works real well. |

Near Richmond, IN | I've tried several different ones through the years in our seed house and the only one I've found to work consistently was BootHill. I use the place packs and tear them open when I place them. They'll eat it and die. You might have to put up with the dead mice smell until the dead ones dry out if you can't find them, but it does work. We are also selling bagged feed out of this same warehouse and if I don't forget to keep the poison out, it will keep the mice/rats out. http://hogslat.com/boot-hill-mini-pellet-place-packs |

| Treat the poison used like insecticides, Rotate your choices. BTW, keep a log of what is used and when. |

Jaguar is the best but it was starting to become irrelevant so every time I get a bucket I get a different bait than I got last time and that really helps. Now I rotate back to it and it ends a problem. |

ND | Thought I've had good luck with Tomcat Place Packs-seems to get the mice. |

Springfield, MN | The most reliable thing I know of if no pets can get at it is ANTIFREEZE. Put some in a small dish, even a 2 1\2 gal container cover, in a place where no pets can get to. They like it and will not get far from the bate. Works fast and no second chances. |

I rotate between jaguar, hawk and tomcat. Have bait boxes every 20-30 ft on the exterior of buildings and go around at the first of each month and pull out the old bait (if any is left) and put in another. I never use the same bait 2 months in a row. Also, I set the regular victor mouse traps around the inside of the building baited with peanut butter as a backup. |

W.C. Mo. | A professional exterminator got me started on Contac years ago for a severe rat infestation in a hog building. It is not cheap but it always works IF you set out the blocks. I get buckets through Amazon. |

| Either first strike or resolv soft bait. Not cheap but seems to work for us. Place in bait boxes. Rotate between these two and sometimes jaguar for less cost. https://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/first-strike-soft-bait-rodenticid...

Arkansas | A good cat is the best. Had pretty bad mouse issues a few yrs ago. And about 2 yrs ago a momma cat showed up and has basically eliminated mice around my shop/grain bin area. Still around and cant get within 50 ft of it. I wouldnt take 1k for that cat even if i could catch it. |

| Silly question but what kind of anti freeze do you use? |
