North East Colorado | I'm thinking of upgrading to a four wheel drive over my current MFWD. Which tractor is prefered and reasons why. Pros and cons of each. |

Albia, Iowa | Consider dealer support as well into your decision. |

| I own a steiger 385 with 710-70-42 tires. It is a great tractor. Ours has 24xx hrs on it with very little trouble. |

North East Colorado | We did just recently lose our local CNH dealer. |

Minnesota | I have a 385 (quadtrac). Unless you have a particular machine in mind, search for a 435, which is the same frame with a little more HP.

|
| We bought a 385 last summer, plan on putting a Steinbauer or ekotuning it over the winter to make it a little stronger than a 435. |

| Cliff, we had our 385 ekotuning done. We set went to 450 h.p. |

North East Colorado | Do caseih tractor owners like the Ivecco engine over the Cummins? |

Rivers, MB | We have a STX 375 quadtrac and a Steiger 435 quadtrac but are all green on the yard other than a 9150 4WD. If you are looking at wheeled tractor, I'd go the JD route. I like the cab and transmission more in the 20 series JD 4Wd's. suspect the 30 series is just as nice if not nicer. I don't like the transmission in our CIH quads. Like the JD autosteer/monitors more as well. And our experience is that JD parts, if needed, are almost always no more than 1-2 days away. Has definitely not been our experience with CNH. Waited up to 5 weeks to get the correct parts for our 375 after some fire damage.

Iowa | Had a similar experience here. I ordered a wiring harness for the 375 the end of march this year------it showed up at the dealer the middle of august.
Had to wait several weeks for gaskets for the shift control valve I had apart several years ago too.
Well at least it wasn't "no longer available" I guess. |
