| What is the history on these tractors? Looking at one with just under 3,000 hours 2012 model with auto quad transmission. Have they been reliable? Common issues that occur? Looking at planting with it with a 3500 kinze planter. Thanks for the input! |

Nw Oregon | They are a good tractor. Check the driveline between engine and transmission. You'll be surprised how much you can get done with one of those tractors |

ECIL | Mine is a nice little tractor to drive, also has I think a 637 loader on it. If you get one with loader you will need rear weight or weight box. I have had several electrical problems but nothing major. It is a 2008 with 1400 hours |

Leesburg, Ohio | Have two. One new in about 2013, no issues. One used 2008 bought in 2014. Only problem with it so far has been fuel leaks...a bad rubber/fabric supply line, and more recently a leaking injector fitting.
They are very versatile tractors. The newer one runs a 15' mower, square baler, and a 750 Deere no-till drill. They would handle a 6-row planter just fine. Used one has a loader and handles large round bales, pulls 13' discbine, and a 15' mower. They both run augers in the fall. Have also used one on 11-coulter nitrogen applicator to side-dress N on corn. Newer one has integrated Greenstar guidance.
They are not a tractor for heavy tillage, but for just about anything else, they are great. |

Ontario | I use a 6420 for heavy tillage. Pulls 5 shank soil saver, 4 furrow reversible plow , 14ft disc with packer , 14ft field cultivator. It has the ivt trans which is nice to work with. Plenty of power for those implements. |

Leesburg, Ohio | Yes, veg, they would be fine for primary tillage with small, 4020-size implements. I was talking about the tillage tools we use on our farms here, now. Pulling a 13 foot ripper 12" deep, or a 40' field cultivator is not in their capability. The tools you mentioned would be just fine. |

Northwest Mo | I have a Premium and also a newer non-premium. I like the older premium far better. It has 6000 hr+, use it every day, has a looder, use for everything. Cattle operation and pull a heavy JD750 no till drill for seedings. Few minor electic issues. Only major issue 1 injector went bad, so replaced all 4. Yes I would buy one again. Thats why I have 2 6430's , one Premium 6430 and a regular 6430. |

New Zealand | Good tractors. Very popular here. Get one with suspended front axle if possible. Buy a roll of marine fuel line and replace factory fuel lines right away if it hasn't already been done. They will let air in sooner or later. |
