Central indiana | I have a 2955 that the tachometer and fuel gauge are not working. The tachometer is pegged at 2500 but the hour meter works still. I was wondering if anyone makes an aftermarket tach because I don't want to pay the rediculous $400+ from John Deere. Also the fuel gauge is not reading right. I checked the sending unit and it is working properly.
Any help is appreciated

ecmn | for the teach you can Google search and see what comes up.
for the fuel gauge if you ohm checked the sending unit at the gauge hookup then the next thing would be to try a new gauge? |

Redickville, Ont | So I had trouble with our gauge in 2950 and switched it for Murphy one with hrs meter fits right in old hole. Did same 4450 it's had digital gauge and switch cover for one off wrecked 2950. I like them they light up red in dark. There not original but at 6000 and 10 000 hrs can't see it hurting there value and fact they likley are not going anywhere. Fuel gauge had trouble too. If we pick gauge out dash it would work and put it back in wouldnt so we put extra ground on panel and seem to clear things up. |
