Both good balers, I like the fact that on New Holland you can see the wrap working, but not sold on the spring loaded bale kicker.

if you get the NH don't get endless belts.i got a 560 and at 600 bales the belts started peeling apart.there is supposed to be a 13000 bale warranty on them anyway NH told me it was foreign material and all they would cover is 1 belt.........and I had to put it on .....what the #$@#$%.so all I know is there is NO WARRANTY on NH. any questios call 563-542-3250

No, but my baler man told me to take one of the springs off. I havn't yet. The problem is partial bales or light corn stalk bales don't weight enough to roll out. I'm sure taking a spring off would solve it (it has four).

I had the same problem, so I took off one spring on each side and it did the trick. I bought my 560 in 2013 and haven't had one problem with it.

Thanks!, bought mine late in the season. Had problems with errors for the net knife, voltage errors (monitor said 14.4 volts though). Dealer did a rework program that winter, new wiring harness on tractor, been great ever since! Pretty much just grease, and drive.

You can get a new baler with a hydraulic kicker, ties right into the door cylinders. Assuming you could also get the parts and add them to any BR or RB series baler.

Yeah I like the fact that NH has the wrap visible, and that it carries the wait on the rollers not the belt. That sucks what happened to your belts. I have 3 green guys around me who bleed green but non of them have a green baler which makes me think to stay red

southeastern ohio

went thru the same last year. Looked at NH 450 silage and JD 459 SS. Bought the Deere, been very happy with it. Both are good balers. Before buying, I talked to several guys that had recently.  All 3 were coming from Br7060 NH. 2 bought deere and said had much less problems with plugging at outter ends of pick up than NH. The Nh guy said the new 450 had better pickup than before but still did plug in right condition. That help my decision, but it came down to price, the Deere ended up being 4k less after trade.

The Nh has a wider pickup but I think the Deere has a tougher pickup and driveline. my opinion only.

I totally agree with you on customer support with NewHolland and Case its very very and I mean very poor! You better hope your dealer that sold you the baler can help you if you have trouble because that's about as far as you will get because they will tell you all questions need to go to your selling dealer. ( I have no idea what kind of help or support JD. Provides.)
Last year I went to the field to bale about 30 acres of dry hay and was having some net wrap and monitor issues with a RB-565 Case that was still under warranty so I called the dealer for help and they only had 1 baler tech and he was on vacation all week. Asked for phone number for Case and was told their field guy covers many states and dealer was only help.
After making some adjustments myself and unrolling and rebaling some bales I finally got the field baled. A little customer support would have been helpful that day . Warranty isn't what it use to be just saying what I found !

I would love one but it's not to easy to get one around here. They sound and seem like great balers but no dealer is hard. Going to go look at the NH 460 now.

Same thing happened to me with less than 300 bales.  One of the endless belts began falling apart.

Do you have a Claas dealer close by? We traded our NH 7070 crop cutter for a Claas 380RC and have been happy with it. It'll bale stalks twice as fast as the NH did. Only have one season on it so can't speak for longevity but so far it's been a real upgrade.

why does Deere not bring their true 9 bailer to the us the ones here in the US are the same oll same oll as when they started building then just changes a sprocket or a shaft here or their the JDs in Germany AND France are made like the BR only with a real fast tale gate came out same year as the 9s here go figure We have a 7060 BR silage endless belts over 11000 on counter not a single miss start just keep your knife sharp--------------------------------dave

Don't doubt you can outrun the 7070 in stalks, but I must say the RB series is a completely different animal in stalks/straw/heavy, stringy hay.

Well bought the new 460 with a crop cutter in it, everyone like the crop cutters in the baler? Have a penta mixer I'm wanting to put balage in, will the bales fall apart fairly decent? And yes I'm one of those dairy farmers.
