Ohio City Ohio | Any one have a suggestion as to where to start/take apart hydraulic valves on back of cab of 4366? oil leaking out of the very top of the body, looks to be a little dust cap on it, blew one out as oil shot up, will trickle oil sometimes for a while after using the remote. |

New York, east end of Lake Ontario | Pretty common on those valve stacks. Need to take them apart and replace orings and will solve problem for awhile. Usually have to do one on my 4386 every year or two |

Hazelton, Kansas 6.75 miles N of Crowbar | Red power is right about the O-ring. They have a short life span though. Best solution is to tap the hole where the "dust" cap is. Fit a hose barb and hose down to the transfer case. My 4386 has a four remote valve and it was a constant source of irritation until I made a drain manifold for it. 20 yrs ago and works great. No big oil dirt ball dripping off the cab. Steigers and Steiger/Allis used the same valve. Fixed a bunch this way. Dirt |
